Abstract
In reference to the mushrooming trend of teaching
English for children at kindergarten in Indonesia is mushrooming especially in big cities, parents bring children to learn English at some private English courses. Parents realized how important is the English mastery for their children‟s future career. The Indonesian government, however, as not standarized the teaching of English at
kindergarten. The development of varieties of teaching from one institution to another, is not followed with evaluation of the effectiveness of the teaching. This article raises the issues underiying the importance of making a standardized model of English teaching for kindergarten in Indonesia.
