Abstract
Negeri Sembilan Minangkabau shoreline is an area which is administratively a part of the territory of Malaysia . Although oceans apart and separate countries due to the Dutch and British colonial rule , most people Negeri Sembilan still acknowledge that their ancestors came from Minangkabau Indonesia. Language and customs of the inhabitants practiced Negeri Sembilan today has many similarities with the language and customs of the Minangkabau . Migration to Negeri Sembilan Minangkabau tradition associated with wander contained in the Minangkabau culture suggested that boys leave home as adults to seek the experience of living in the world and supplies . The arrival of the Minangkabau people to Negeri Sembilan in addition to bringing the customs prevailing in Minangkabau , they were also named the places which he opened with the names of their original villages come .
